Our Mission
Las Americas Business Center operates as a profitable business that fosters the development and expansion of Latino and other businesses by providing multi-cultural, multi-professional, and technical support to Latinos and other bi-cultural communities. Las Americas emphasizes the delivery of business consulting, business seminars, tax and accounting expertise to new and established individuals and businesses.
Our History
Founded in 1989 as the Lynnwood Accounting Center, Inc. In 1995, the company changed its name to Las Americas Business Center, Inc. Las Americas has offered an array of services to individuals and businesses, with a concentration on accounting and income tax preparation.
Today, Las Americas offers accounting, tax preparation, business and individual financial counseling services. In 1997, Las Americas sponsored the first Latino Business Fair in the Puget Sound region in partnership with local banks to showcase its clients businesses to the Latino and wider community. Las Americas continues to co-sponsor this annual event. Las Americas has provided cultural sensitivity training to U.S. Census takers, 211 Call Center workers, and many other organizations. Las Americas was of pivotal importance in the creation of the Latino Educational Training Institute (LETI) a 501-3c nonprofit organization supporting the Latino Community.
